History of Apples Exhibit, Apple Products

Trail Stop 26:

Meaford Museum at the Harbour

The Municipality of Meaford has a robust and unique history. Much of it revolves around a rich agricultural past - and of course, this includes apples galore!

The apple exhibit examines the history of the apple industry including the farming families of Meaford and the production process.

Centrally located at Meaford's harbour on the shores of Georgian Bay, and housed in what was originally the Town’s Pump House built in 1895, a visit will give you a snapshot of what life was like for local apple farming families and how technology has changed the apple packing industry.

A stop to see their amazing Apple Exhibit and a walk along the beautiful Meaford Harbour.
