March Break on the Apple Pie Trail

March 12, 2017

One of the best things about the Georgian Triangle is that it is truly a four seasons destination. There is always something to interesting and new to keep you, your visiting guests, your little ones, everyone entertained and active. With unpredictable weather patterns, it's hard to say whether the ground will be covered in grass, snow or mud. No matter the conditions, there is something to do, we've gone ahead and prepared a short list of examples to get your creative juices flowing. Check these out and do some exploring of your own. A great place to start? Browse our trail stops.

Escape to nature with Friends and Family

The Scenic Caves Adventure Centre is offering a March Break Trail Pass for only 10$! Good through March 13-17, 2017. This is a perfect opportunity to take advantage of the last bit of snow we have left. Take in beautiful panoramic views of Georgian Bay while traversing the 420 ft. suspension bridge. Enjoy the outdoors with cross country skiing and snowshoeing at night under the stars!

Family Channel @Blue Mountain Village!

Family Channel is taking over the Blue Mountain Village and has planned an amazing week of fun-filled activities on and off the slopes. Gather your friends and the family for a weekend of skiing, snowshoeing, concerts, lip sync battles, dancing, fireworks, pizza-pool parties and much more! Everyday there will be new events and concerts that you will not want to miss! Be sure to check out their website for more info.

Keep Warm with Local Wine
